About Daisy Mountain Handworks   Daisy Mountain Handworks is a home based business specializing in handmade items such as Raggedy Ann & Andy Dolls, hand knit scarves, and children’s smocked dresses.   I have been making Raggedy Ann & Andy dolls since 1976. Each doll is handcrafted with love and care.   Dolls measure 36” tall using the highest quality materials in clothing and stuffing. Materials for the body are hand dyed, making each doll unique.   The face is hand embroidered and yarn hair is hand sewn and clothing finished by hand.  Hand embroidered heart on chest says “I LUV YOU”   Custom Orders can be hand made to color coordinate with a specific room for a one of a kind doll!  In some cases may use fabric supplied by buyer.    Raggedy Ann and Andy can be purchased together or separately.     My passion is the enjoyment of making these dolls and the delight of seeing them come to life!  I would like you to enjoy and treasure your doll for years to come. I still remember my sewing teacher, Miss Crawford……pinning our pattern perfectly before we could cut the fabric.   My mother was gifted with the ability to make and sew without a pattern; I feel that some of her passion was passed on to me.   My first dolls were made back in 1976 for my children, since have made many for baby gifts, birthday presents and other special occasions.  I also love to knit and smock children’s dresses.  I plan to add these additional items to the website in the near future.   I live in New River, Arizona next to Daisy Mountain with my husband Bud, who is very supportive of my passion.  We have four horses and three dogs.   Take care, Linda
